Meet our newest fellows: Matt Freeman, Ann Skelton and Baden Vertongen

Congratulations are in order! We are super excited to announce the newest Fellows of the Institute: Matt FreemanAnn Skelton and Baden Vertongen.

Fellowship is the highest credentialed status of the Institute, and we're delighted to have awarded Fellowship to these fantastic practitioners.

Ann Skelton is the recipient of the Ann Edge Memorial Prize for Excellence in Fellowship Mediation 2021. This is awarded for each Mediation Fellowship round to a candidate who has shown exceptional performance throughout the examinations.

In addition, Matt Freeman now joins a small cohort of Fellows who have attained both Arbitration and Mediation Fellowships by examination, having completed them both in back-to-back years. A fantastic achievement and testament to the significant value Matt is adding to the Aotearoa dispute resolution landscape.

The Institute would like to thank Royden Hindle and Paul Sills (in their capacities as the Director and Deputy Director of Professional Studies) for delivering another successful round of Fellowship, even during a tumultuous 2021.

Special thanks also go to Jenny Leith, Chris Rowe and Bruce Cottrill for their efforts in acting as assessors for the practical assessment. We could not have done it without you all!
