Peter Davey awarded for his work in the 2020 Fellowship Programme
The Institute is delighted to announce that The Sir Ronald Davison Award has been awarded to Auckland Barrister Peter Davey for his work in the 2020 Fellowship Assessment Programme.
The Sir Ronald Davison Award was established by Sir Ronald Davison GBE, CMG QC, a former Chief Justice of New Zealand, in the mid-1980’s. It is awarded for Excellence in Award Writing in the Institute’s Arbitration Fellowship Examinations. The Award is not allocated in every Fellowship Assessment round (only being awarded 15 times since it was established). Awards are made on the recommendation of the Institute’s Director of Professional Studies Royden Hindle, and with the approval of Honorary Life Member Sir Ian Barker QC. Recipients in the past have included Hon Nicholas Davidson QC, Jeremy Johnson, Polly Pope and Andrew Hazelton.
