About Bill

Bill is a barrister, mediator and adjudicator with over 40 years experience. His areas of his expertise include commercial, workplace, property, environmental, family, education, community and health care matters. As an accredited team development practitioner, he has consulted with many senior leaders and teams in NZ and the UK, facilitating complex business transformation and change.

Bill is a member of the NZLS, and mediation panel of AMINZ. He is an accredited FDR provider and has specialist education mediation training with the NZLS.  Bill has been a Weathertight Homes Tribunal mediator, vice-chair and board member of LEADR NZ (now Resolution Institute) and Independent Hearings Commissioner (RMA). He regularly presents at industry conferences on current dispute resolution practice and he co-authored the ADR section of DSL Environmental Law Handbook.
