Exciting News! K3 Legal invites AMINZ Members to join them in introducing K3 Legal Hong Kong

K3 Legal are delighted to announce that our law firm has been presented with a unique opportunity to expand its operations onto the global stage. K3 have secured the chance to establish an office in the dynamic legal landscape of Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong Province. 

This represents a significant milestone in our firm’s journey, allowing us to tap into the vibrant markets of the Asia Pacific region. 

What sets this expansion apart, is our commitment to enhancing our service offering to our local Chinese clients, better linking their Chinese interests with their New Zealand endeavours. By having staff in Hong Kong we expect to achieve greater efficiency in providing key services such as AML compliance, litigation support and transactional support. 

We have formed an association with Fred Kan & Co. in Hong Kong, with links to DKL Qianhai Law Firm in the Greater Bay Area. Through this association, K3 Hong Kong will also provide a seamless service for NZ businesses entering into the Hong Kong and mainland China markets, as well as being well placed to facilitate Chinese business investment in New Zealand. 

To celebrate, we are holding an exclusive launch event for our Hong Kong office, in Auckland on 5 October 2023, 5:30pm to 10pm, at The Assembly - 11 Britomart Place, Auckland. 

This event will be an opportunity for our attendees to network with around 150 other individuals and businesses, with interests between NZ, Hong Kong and China. 

We will also be joined by the founding partner of Fred Kan & Co, Fred Kan, for this event. Fred is an integral part of our team and a remarkable individual with a strong passion for Hong Kong and the Great Bay Area. His dedication is evident through his involvement in a joint venture firm with a Macau and Beijing entity, established in Shenzhen, China. Fred’s extensive experience includes being the founder and Senior Partner of Fred Kan & Co. He has contributed significantly to the legal landscape through various roles, including being a Council Member of the Law Society of Hong Kong. 

We are enthusiastic about this new chapter and anticipate making meaningful contributions to both the legal communities of Hong Kong and New Zealand.
