Ōtepoti Hui | Dunedin Network Meeting

  • New Zealand Law Society Otago Branch 265 Princes Street Dunedin, Otago, 9016 New Zealand (map)

It's time for another Ōtepoti Hui! We’d love to see you.

This session will dovetail with the New Zealand Law Society Otago Branch event ‘Unpacking facilitation and mediation as tools for your clients’. Hosted early afternoon, this will be a great lunch break session for learning and networking together.

Featuring AMINZ Councillor and Otago Network Convenor Kate Keddell, alongside Taryn Gudmanz (Princes Chambers), and Scott Mason (Findex), the session will cover:

  • The difference between facilitation and mediation

  • When to use them to resolve your client’s problems; and

  • How to use them early to prevent conflict from escalating into disputes

The session is aimed at non-litigators and litigators who help their clients to resolve problems. For those of you who are already relatively familiar with the above content, this will still be a fantastic session to refresh your knowledge, hear from three highly experienced professionals and, of course, catch up with your Otago AMINZ peers.

Registrations to attend are made through NZLS. Head below to secure your spot – and we hope to see you there!

Date: Thursday 30 March
Time: 1pm-2pm
Venue: In-person at the Otago Branch (Level 4, John Wickliffe House, 265 Princes Street) or via Zoom)
Cost: $15
