  • Russell McVeagh 48 Shortland Street Auckland, Auckland, 1010 New Zealand (map)

The Society of Construction Law is pleased to extend an invite to all AMINZ members to their September meeting. Royden Hindle and Dr Anna Kirk will present “Arbitration Unveiled’: the New Zealand Inaugural Arbitration Survey Report.

Royden and Anna have collected statistical data on the use of arbitration in New Zealand. This is the first time such data has been collected. Join us as they present their findings and discuss the implications for dispute resolution in the construction sector.

Topics covered, include:

  • How many arbitrations are conducted in New Zealand?

  • Who are the arbitrators?

  • What are the disputes about?

  • How much are they worth?

  • How long does the average arbitration take?

  • How much does it cost?
