The AMINZ Conference is a collegial event that attracts influential leaders, practitioners, and newcomers alike from across Aotearoa and internationally. Across several days, delegates explore critical topics in alternative dispute resolution through keynote addresses, skill-based sessions, consensual and determinative dispute resolution learning streams, panel discussions – and of course, ample networking and social opportunities.
The popular event aims to build delegates’ knowledge, networks, and business and it’s one of the largest gatherings of dispute resolution practitioners in Aotearoa each year.
Themed Access to Justice, the 2023 programme will cover discussion topics pertinent to the way New Zealand's ADR practitioners can continue to lead the way in dispute resolution through 2023 and beyond.
How can ADR be used to increase access to justice? How can access to justice be improved within ADR itself? What can New Zealand practitioners be doing to ensure ADR continues to grow?
We look forward to exploring these ideas, diving into new insights, and bringing forward some thought-provoking discussion topics on justice here in Aotearoa. After all, it is when we actively engage in these types of discussions, forcing ourselves to reflect and think outside the status quo, that we as practitioners (and as the ADR and legal community) can grow.
If you’re looking to either learn from or share your knowledge, insights and expertise with like-minded peers and eager ears, Conference 2023 is an unparalleled opportunity to do so.
Where will Conference 2023 take place?
Pōneke Wellington, Aotearoa’s capital, will play host to this highly anticipated programme. Ideally placed in the heart of Aotearoa, this will be a fantastic backdrop for several days of learning – and exploring all that the region has to offer.
Who should attend?
Conference is an ideal environment for anyone within or interested in the field of dispute resolution. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or a newcomer, an arbitrator, mediator, lawyer, commissioner, HR professional, counsellor or student - there will be something of interest.
