“It’s a marathon, not a sprint, to recover from a natural disaster,” Ann says.

Engagement with your insurer (if you have insurance) is the best first step but if disputes arise, get a professional involved. Resolution of your claim and any dispute is an important step in reclaiming some sense of normal.
